Questions
Before you dive in
Is TotallyVibes free to use?
Yes. Creating your vibe card, checking in, browsing events and free carpooling all cost nothing. Some events charge an entrance fee set by the host, and paid ride tiers run R150–R500 (which also covers your entrance to that event).
How do rides/convoys work?
A driver offers seats to a specific event and lists pickup stops in order. Riders pick their stop and pay the driver directly — there's no card processing in the app. R150 gets you 2 stops for that event's day, R300 gets you 5 stops, and R500 is a full weekend pass (2 stops/day, Thursday to Sunday) with entrance included.
How does check-in actually work?
Stand at a registered spot and tap check in — your phone's GPS confirms you're within about 150m before it counts. Everyone else sees that you're there, never your exact live location.
Can I list a spot I know?
Yes, add it from your profile in seconds. If you actually run the place, you can claim it — once an admin verifies you, you unlock promotions, a menu and a calendar that show up on your venue page.
What do I get when I join an event?
An instant QR ticket — shown at the door, nothing to print. If the event has a drinks special, it's shown right on your ticket too.
Is there an app?
Yes — TotallyVibes works right here in your browser, and there's a native Android app with the same features. It's linked from your profile once you're signed in.
